Unveiling VK-X picture

Be the first to discover the final design

Hi everyone,

Baptiste here. Following my 3D design unveiling, this is the very first picture of the VK-X prototype, in its Classic edition series. It has not been published anywhere else but I wanted to make you a favor as you have been following this journal.

Happy to have your feedback so please do not hesitate to comment 🙂

Have a nice Sunday,
Baptiste

Beautiful! I would love to know how it functions. Controls?

Too plain. Looks like the old model. Need more flash.

I love this! Was afraid it was gonna look horrible with all the features and making it all work but this is something I can definitely see myself wearing. Looking forward to the release!

Thank you Sebastian. It has been quite a challenge to make everything going inside the cup while staying faithful to our signature design and we all hope this pleases you !

Will it be more comfortable than the VK1? The clamp looks almost the same.

Beautiful! Don’t mind the fact that it looks similar to the older models. This is the timeless design we love and want.
I’m a bit worried about the depth of the earpads though. It looks a bit shallow.

I’m going with you, Albert! Beautiful design as we have liked before and will like in the future! The earpads really seem to be a bit shallow in comparison to e.g. my good old Beyerdynamic DT880S(tudio) which is really comfortable … but I think you’ll make the best of it …

Timeless design just like furniture from Mies Van Der Rohe from the 1920s that is still classic 100 years later.

Thank you very much for you support Gordon ! It’s much appreciated.

Magnifique, j’achète.
J’espère qu’il sera disponible en noir !

Paul Acquitter

Merci Pascal ! Il sera en effet disponible en noir, de série, ainsi qu’à la personnalisation.

Thanks a lot Gus !

So gorgeous! I would make the diameter of the raised plateau a smidgen (circa. 3mm) wider, just to make it look a bit more solid and weighty, but other than that, it’s perfect!

It is beautiful as always but as a person who owns both VK1 and 2 models, I am little hesitant to get this new model, looking almost identical to older models. Let me see how other color options look (custom order) and decide.
